  Beneath a polite enough exterior lies an unfriendly and repulsively patronising individual far too used to dealing with incapable tourists to be bothered to help out an actual cyclist in any way in spite of the intended purchase.
  
  Capitalist, objectionable and thoroughly unhelpful. Not the attitude one has come to expect from bike shops anywhere in the world.
  
  When presented with someone more in the know about bicycles he was neither willing nor seemingly capable of helping nor particularly polite about things. I wouldn't trust this man with any bicycle repair, his condescending demeanour only seemed to be suggest he was hiding an obtuse lack of skill.
